Recently Forbes came out with their list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes and  I could not help but notice Tiger Woods name in the #3 position (with earnings of $59.4 million).  This coupled with his recent win at Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament in Ohio,  reminded me of what I wrote about Tiger back in December of 2009 here, when many were saying his career was over.

With college football just around the corner, I see that many are picking USC as their preseason favorite. This reminded me of what I wrote back in May of 2010 here, when many were outraged by the compensation package USC awarded their new head coach Lane Kiffin.

Finally, but without a precipitating reason, I am bringing back the entry I wrote in September of 2010 about dangers that an out of control ego can present here.
